This adjustable finger dumbbell is especially suitable for grip strength beginners and arm wrestlers. For beginners because you can start at a very low resistance level and slowly increase progressively. Adjustable strengths vary from 50lbs to 150lbs with markings at 50,75,100,125 and 150 lbs.
In arm wrestling, the force of squeezing a finger dumbbell in a straight wrist position is not critical to begin with. Much more important is the force with which you can compress a finger dumbbell in an angled wrist position. Since only a fraction of the actual grip force can be applied in this position, the finger dumbbell should also not offer extreme resistance. In addition, the dumbbell handles can be adjusted independently of each other, which allows you to put more targeted weight on the smaller fingers that are important for arm wrestling.
