1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Every time you call up a website, the web server only automatically saves a so-called server log file, which documents access data.

The access data includes:

Name and URL of the accessed file
date and time of access
amount of data transferred
Message about successful retrieval (HTTP response code)
browser type and version

We use this log data without assigning it to you personally or otherwise profiling it for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimising our website, but also to anonymously record the number of visitors to our website (traffic) and the extent and type of use of our website and services, as well as for accounting purposes to measure the number of clicks received from cooperation partners. This information allows us to provide personalised and location-based content and to analyse traffic, troubleshoot and improve our services.
This is also our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) DSGVO.
We reserve the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete indications. We store IP addresses in the log files for a limited period of time if this is necessary for security purposes or for the provision of services or the billing of a service, e.g. if you use one of our offers. After the order process has been cancelled or after payment has been received, we delete the IP address if it is no longer required for security purposes. We also store IP addresses if we have a concrete suspicion of a criminal offence in connection with the use of our website. We also store the date of your last visit as part of your account (e.g. when registering, logging in, clicking links etc.).

All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting services by a third party provider
As part of processing on our behalf, a third party provider provides hosting and website display services on our behalf. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are outweighed by a balance of interests. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the framework explained here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data collection and use for contract processing and when opening a customer account

.
We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data to process the contract, or to process your contact or open a customer account, and you cannot complete the order and/or open an account or send the contact without providing it. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of processing the contract and dealing with your enquiries. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

3. Data transfer

In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you must register with the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

If you have selected “PayPal via PayPal Plus”, “Direct Debit via PayPal Plus”, “Credit Card via PayPal Plus” or “PayPal Plus Invoice” as your payment method, we will forward your personal customer data collected during the order process to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter referred to as “PayPal”) as part of the payment processing. When you select one of the payment methods listed below, “Credit Card via PayPal”, “Direct Debit via PayPal” or “PayPal Invoice”, PayPal carries out a creditworthiness check. In this process, mathematical-statistical procedures are used to calculate a rating with regard to the probability of non-payment (so-called calculation of a scoring value). PayPal bases its decision on the provision of the respective payment methods on the calculated scoring value. The calculation of a scoring value is carried out according to recognised scientific procedures. Please also refer to PayPal’s privacy policy: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.

Information on the identity check at PayPal and the exchange of data with credit agencies (credit report) can be found here: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/creditchk.

Data transfer to shipping service providers
If you have given us your express consent to do so during or after your order, we will pass on your e-mail address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO so that they can contact you before delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination.

You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or directly to the shipping service provider at the contact address listed below. After revocation, we will delete your data provided for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. 4. E-mail newsletters, e-mail evaluation requests and postal advertising

E-mail advertising with subscription to the newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you to regularly send you our e-mail newsletter based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

The newsletter is sent as part of processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your e-mail address for this purpose.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Newsletter – performance measurement

To measure success, the newsletters contain so-called pixel tags, which are retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened or, if we use a dispatch service provider, from their server. Technical information (e.g. browser), your IP address and the time of the retrieval are collected here. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services on the basis of the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients, but it is neither our intention nor, if used, that of the dispatch service provider to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognise the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

E-mail advertising with registration for the evaluation inquiry
If you register for our evaluation request, we use the data of your order that is provided for this purpose in order to send you our e-mail evaluation request once on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Unsubscribing from the evaluation request is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to our email mail@titangrip-shop.com or via our contact form. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

Postal advertising and your right to object
In addition, we reserve the right to use your first and last name as well as your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in addressing our customers in an advertising manner in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The advertising mailings are provided as part of processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your data for this purpose.
You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

5. Cookies and web analysis

You can manage your cookie settings by clicking on the following button:

In order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can find out how long they are stored in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. You can find this for each browser under the following links:

If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis

Insofar as you have given your consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC (www.google.de), for the purpose of website analysis. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The information automatically collected about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google Analytics by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de . This will prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google.

As an alternative to the browser plugin, you can click this link to prevent the collection by Google Analytics on this website in the future. This will place an opt-out cookie on your terminal device. If you delete your cookies, you will be asked again to give your consent.

Revoke your consent.

6. Advertising via marketing networks

Google AdWords Remarketing
We use Google Adwords to advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. Insofar as you have given us your consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, the so-called remarketing cookie is set by Google when you visit our website, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookieID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google AdWords Remarketing by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Additional data processing will only take place if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and using information from your Google Account to personalise the ads you see on the web. In this case, if they are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data will be temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data in order to form target groups.

Google AdWords Remarketing is an offer of Google LLC (www.google.de). Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating the remarketing cookie via this link. In addition, you can obtain information from the Digital Advertising Alliance about the setting of cookies and make settings in this regard.

7. Integration of third-party services and content

Within our online offer, we use content or service providers on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) content or service offers from third-party providers in order to integrate their content and services (e.g. videos or fonts – hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”).
This integration always requires that the third-party providers are aware of the IP address of the user, as without this they would not be able to send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore required for the display. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags for statistical or marketing purposes. The pixel tags can be used to analyse information (e.g. visitor traffic) on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may be stored in cookies on the user’s device and may contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of our online offer and may also be linked to such information from other sources.

Push notifications

If push notifications are activated by you for this website through the “Signalize” service, a function of your internet browser or mobile operating system is used to provide the notifications to you. Only anonymous or pseudonymous data is transmitted for sending messages. Depending on the configuration of the website, this can be

Pseudonymous user ID: a randomly generated value (example: 108bf9a85547edb1108bf9a85547edb1), which is stored in a tracking cookie ID.
Pseudonymous digital fingerprints, pseudonymous mobile device identifiers and, where applicable, pseudonymous cross-device identifiers.

This data is only processed to deliver the notifications you have subscribed to and to make notification-related settings. We ask for your consent to store this data. In this case, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can object to receiving notifications at any time via the settings of your browser or mobile device. Information on how to opt out for push notifications can be found here.
In order to make the push notifications meaningful for you in terms of content, we use the preferences collected on the basis of a pseudonymous user profile by means of tracking pixels and, with consent, also by means of cookies and merge your notification ID with the user profile of the website solely for the purpose of personalised messaging. Tracking technology is also used to statistically analyse notifications on our behalf. This enables us to determine whether a notification has been delivered and whether it has been clicked on. The data thus generated is processed and stored on our behalf by etracker GmbH from Hamburg, which provides the Signalize service, exclusively in Germany and is thus subject to the strict German and European data protection laws and standards. etracker has been independently audited and certified in this respect and is entitled to bear the ePrivacyseal data protection seal of approval.

The processing of data for the statistical analysis of notifications and in order to better adapt future notifications to the interests of recipients is based on our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Since the privacy of our visitors is very important to us, data that may allow a reference to an individual person, such as the IP address, login or device identifiers, are anonymised or pseudonymised as soon as possible. A direct reference to a person is thus excluded. The data will not be used in any other way, merged with other data or passed on to third parties.

You can object to the aforementioned data processing at any time.

8. Pinterest Conversion Tracking

Our website uses the conversion tracking technology of the social network Pinterest (Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland), which enables us to display relevant advertisements and offers on Pinterest to our website visitors who have already taken an interest in our website and our content/offers and are Pinterest members. For this purpose, a so-called conversion tracking pixel from Pinterest is integrated on our pages, via which Pinterest is informed when you visit our website that you have called up our website and in which parts of our offer you were interested. If, for example, you were interested in our products on our website, you may be shown an ad for our products on Pinterest.

You can object to the collection of data for the display of interest-based advertising on Pinterest at any time in your account settings on Pinterest at https://www.pinterest.de/settings (there, under “Individual customisation”, deactivate the button “Use info from our partners to better tailor recommendations and ads on Pinterest to you”) or at https://help.pinterest.com/de/article/personalization-and-data#info-ad (there, deactivate the checkbox under “Disable individual customisation”).

9. Facebook Pixel, Custom Audiences and Facebook Conversion

Within our online offer, the so-called “Facebook pixel” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), is used due to our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer and for these purposes.
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “Facebook ads”). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called “Custom Audiences”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion”).

The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook’s data use policy. Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook ads, in Facebook’s data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Specific information and details on the Facebook Pixel and how it works can be found in Facebook’s help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.

You can opt-out of the Facebook Pixel’s collection and use of your data to display Facebook Ads. To set what types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are platform independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
You can further opt out of the use of cookies used for reach measurement and advertising purposes via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/) and additionally the US website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices) or the European website (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/).
You can opt out of tracking here: Ban Facebook Pixel from tracking me

11. Data security

We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure on our online shop in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. As a rule, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is encrypted by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

12. Data processing for tournament forms

In addition to all other applicable points, this point applies exclusively to registration forms on tournament pages. All data we collect for pre-registration of tournaments, as well as on-site registration, will be kept securely until the conclusion of the event. This data is used to verify tournament fees, tournament organisation and on-site security. At the conclusion of the tournament, all written data collected will be shredded and disposed of in a secure manner.

13. Amendment of this Privacy Policy – Status

Due to the further development of our website and offers on it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this data protection declaration. The current data protection declaration can be called up and printed out by you at any time on the website under data protection.

14. Duty to inform Shopify

Our company collects reviews via the independent service provider SHOPVOTE. SHOPVOTE uses automated and manual measures to verify reviews. You can find information on the authenticity of customer reviews on SHOPVOTE here

15. Use of ShopVote graphics

We have included ShopVote graphics on this website to display our ShopVote seal and the collected and/or aggregated ratings, where applicable.

This serves to protect our legitimate interests in optimal marketing of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The ShopVote graphics and the services advertised with them are an offer of Blickreif GmbH, Alter Messeplatz 2, 80339 Munich.

When the ShopVote graphics are called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of the call-up, the amount of data transferred and the source of the call-up (access data) and documents the call-up. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to the site. No other personal data is collected or stored by the ShopVote graphics.

16. Contact for rating reminder by ShopVote

If you have given us your express consent to this during or after your order in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we will transmit your order number and e-mail address to the SHOPVOTE rating platform of Blickreif GmbH, Alter Messeplatz 2, 80339 Munich (www.shopvote.de), so that they can send you a rating reminder by e-mail. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the data controller or to the rating platform.

17. Use of Customer Reviews for WooCommerce

.

We use the Customer Reviews for WooCommerce plugin on our website to collect and display reviews and opinions from our customers. When you submit a review through the plugin, the information you enter, including your name, email address and rating, is stored and published on our website to share your feedback with other customers.

When you submit a review, you also have the option to subscribe to a notification to receive replies to your review. If you choose this option, your email address will be used to send you notifications of further comments about the product in question. You can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email.

In the checkout process, you also have the option to choose whether you would like to receive a reminder to leave a review after purchase by ticking a box.
